The GEOINT certification is used by employers to gauge the competence of aspiring GEOINT
professionals. The four essential bodies of knowledge that this certification is currently based on are
(“GEOINT Essential Body of Knowledge, 5): 1)GIS & Analysis Tools, 2)Remote Sensing & Imagery
Analysis, 3)Geospatial Data Management, and4) Data Visualization.
