Campus Ministry

Campus Ministry provides opportunities for students at Chaminade University to explore questions of meaning, to grow in their faith, to be part of a strong, suppportive community, and to learn from others as they serve those in need in the local community.

Programs include retreats, prayer experiences, small faith communities, community service, spiritual direction, supportive listening, and engagement in concerns of peace, justice and the integrity of creation through the lens of Catholic Social Teaching. Two Catholic Sunday Masses are offered on campus along with other opportunities for a full liturgical and sacramental life, including sacramental preparation for those interested.

Based in Catholic and Marianist principles and values, these activities are open to all students and are carried out with the profound respect for other religious traditions articulated by the Roman Catholic Church in Vatican II. Through all its programs, Campus Ministry promotes a spirit of faith, service and supportive community.
