Public Health: Certificate Requirements
Individuals who seek a certificate in the Data Analytics Specialization are community-based individuals who may or may not have an undergraduate degree in another discipline and seek to gain depth of knowledge while acquiring additional skills to launch or enhance a career in public health or a related field. The certificate will provide learning to harness the power of ‘big data’ to improve healthcare.
Content includes disease modeling and prediction, which informs decision-making and policy development. Individuals interested in the certificate option will follow appropriate application/admission processes. The certificate requires the completion of 15 credit hours, and the typical timeline for completion of the certificate is 2 semesters.Course
