For All Students

Campus Ministry offers all Chaminade students engaging opportunities to explore questions of meaning, to grow in their faith, to be part of a strong, supportive community, and to learn from others as they serve those in need in the local community.

Programs include retreats, seasonal prayer services and rituals, small faith communities, spiritual direction and supportive listening. Community service is engaged in a prayerful context through the lens of Catholic Social Teaching’s concerns for peace, justice and the integrity of creation.

Based in Catholic and Marianist principles and values, these activities are open to all students and are carried out with the profound respect for other religious traditions articulated by the Roman Catholic Church in Vatican II. Through all its programs, Campus Ministry promotes a spirit of faith, service and supportive community.

Catholic Masses and Sacraments

Two Catholic Sunday Masses are offered on campus along with other opportunities for a full liturgical and sacramental life. The Sacrament of Penance / Reconciliation is celebrated communally each semester and is always available by appointment with one of the three Marianist priests on campus.

Preparation for the Catholic Sacraments of Baptism, Confirmation and First Communion are offered for those who are interested, regardless of your starting point.
