Prior Learning Credit

International Baccalaureate (IB)
The International Baccalaureate Diploma or individual IB courses are accepted for credit if the student scores at least a 5 on the higher level examinations. Official transcripts will need to be requested through IB and sent directly to Chaminade University for credit articulation.

Advanced Placement (AP)
Advanced placement courses are accepted for credit if the student scores 3 or better on the AP exams. Official scores will need to be requested through College Board and sent directly to Chaminade University for credit articulation.

Running Start, Dual Credit/Enrollment, Early College Classes
High school students who participated in Running Start, dual/credit enrollment, or Early College programs through their high schools can submit their college coursework for credit evaluation. Official college transcripts, from each attended institution, must be submitted as part of the admissions application and to be considered for credit articulation.
