Effective Writing Instruction

This course provides graduate students with a comprehensive understanding of the stages of
writing development for K-6 students and equips them with research-based frameworks and
tools for effective writing instruction. Emphasis will be placed on structured writing approaches, explicit instruction in sentence construction, and integrating writing across the
curriculum.
