Description

This course offers an overview of developmental theories, models, and concepts across the lifespan with a focus on diverse populations, encompassing the principles of social justice. Students will analyze physical, cognitive, social-emotional, and linguistic development from prenatal stages through adulthood, taking into account the impact of culture, environment, genetics, and neural functioning, while also delving into typologies and etiologies of neurodivergence, thus fostering an inclusive understanding guided by the ideals of social justice.
