Complex Disease III

This course focuses on the application of the nursing process in the care of adult medical/surgical patients. A holistic approach will be emphasized in studying specific body systems, disease and the pathological processes associated with them, including their etiology, diagnosis, signs and symptoms, treatment and nursing considerations. Complex Disease III is the third course of a four-semester series. Content will build on previous knowledge related to the complexities of disease and acute versus chronic conditions.
