Leading Quality Innovation in Advanced

This advanced leadership course focuses on the theories and practices needed to effectively lead innovative change to transform health care in the context of evidence-based thinking. Students are given the opportunity to develop an innovation philosophy for leading organizations using evidence-based practices now and in the future. Characteristics of the intuitive leader will be discussed. The course emphasizes the role of the DNP in the creation of an organizational context for innovation. Students will explore strategies for diffusion of innovation in complex, adaptive healthcare organizations.
