Current Issues, Challenges & Opportunities in Palliative Care

In this course, students will apply evidence-based strategies for nurses to effectively assess and address current issues or challenges in providing quality palliative care, particularly to underserved populations. We will explore how social, cultural and economic factors impact interdisciplinary teams' delivery of accessible, equitable, culturally-sensitive palliative/hospice care to seriously ill patients & their families.
