Master of Fine Arts in Writing (MFA) Requirements
The 36-credit ‘Professional MFA in Writing’ is designed to be completed in a single 12-month cycle for full-time graduate students – estimated at roughly half of each year’s cohort. The curriculum assumes eight standard 3-credit courses and one 3-credit guided writing residency (onsite or online) followed by three different 3-credit thesis writing courses for a total of 9-credits of thesis writing.
