Overview
Description
Students will explore the Jesus of History and the Christ of Faith with consideration given to the varied perspectives of the Church’s living-faith tradition. Students will study contemporary controversies that pertain to the meaning, person and story of Jesus of Nazareth. Special attention will be given to understanding the applicability of Jesus’ message and spirit for our global human predicament. Offered annually. Prerequisite: RE 103, RE 205, or RE 211. This course fulfills the General Education requirement for Formation in Faith.
English 102 and Communication 101 are prerequisites for all upper division courses.
