Description

This course provides an exploration of various evidence-based practices and therapeutic techniques applied to the improvement of child and adolescent functioning, and parent-child relationships with emphasis placed on assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of childhood and adolescent disorders, parent education, crisis intervention, and family engagement. Students will understand how to diagnose and treat a wide range of developmental, emotional, behavioral, and relational issues experienced by young clients.
