Description
This course provides academic credit while students are in the process of completing their dissertation. The dissertation is a scholarly work that provides students with an opportunity to deepen their knowledge and thought about a particular clinical area, to demonstrate the ability to critically analyze methodological issues, and to produce an original and potentially publishable piece of research in clinical psychology.
This requirement is divided into two courses: PP-8500 Dissertation – Proposal and PP-8501 Dissertation – Final. The dissertation proposal is an evaluated presentation of the preliminary dissertation work up through the Methods/Approach section, while the final dissertation contains all elements of a complete dissertation.
