Advanced Psychopathology

Familiarizes the student with concepts and philosophies related to psychopathology. Covers the DSM-5 classification and the different formulations which determine the development of psychopathology. Review of current assessment skills to include psychological intake, mental status exam, and the use of psychopharmacology, diagnosis/differential diagnosis, prognosis, psychological formulation, and treatment plan.
Prerequisites: PSY 521, PSY 524, PSY 601
